Lesdavag is an interdisciplinary Mexican American artist whose work regards concepts of life, death, and humanity. His art is a realization that space and time are not objective phenomena, but rather the tools our mind uses to connect everything – energy can not be created or destroyed, it can only change in form. Through his art, Lesdavag explores memories and events that made an impact on his life and the people around him. For the most part, he uses raw materials like dirt and wood and in some cases found objects, to convey his concepts.
Lesdavag has been part of several art exhibitions in the United States and Mexico, most recently exhibited at the art gallery in the Mexican Consulate of Tucson. He was born in Denver, Colorado, and studied Fine Arts in Tucson at the University of Arizona. Currently, Lesdavag resides in Mexico City where he works as a visual designer and continues developing new works of art.
